HELP US CELEBRATE!

February 2017 -- May 2018

See a video of Founders Day here.

In February of 1967 the first Board of Trustees meeting was held and NCCC became a reality.  A half century later, we continue to provide quality post-secondary education for an affordable price, close to home, as our founders intended.

Franklin and Essex counties joined together to bring NCCC, as part of the State University of New York, to our area.  The opportunities the college has given county residents, as well as many from across our state and beyond, have changed lives and made our region a better place.   Over 50,000 students have taken credit-bearing classes since our founding, and many more have participated in life-long learning opportunities.

We wish to thank all those who have made, and continue to make, North Country Community College a great success and vital part of our communities:  our amazing faculty and staff; our students; our Board of Trustees; Foundation Board; our town, village and county leaders; and our financial supporters.

In May of 2018 our 50th commencement will take place. Please join us for our ongoing festivities to honor our past, celebrate our present and embrace our future.
